Jillian is the blood mother of Taylor and Darrell. Her reasons for converting Darrell are unknown, and she stated she saved Taylor simply due to being in the area and feeling altruistic. At some point in the past she also converted James, and it’s been implied that she may have other dauor children as well.

Jillian was born in the 1500s and lived the early portion of her life as a man, with a wife and daughter. She was taken away from them against her will when she became a dauor. It was after this that she transitioned and began living as a woman, which she is much happier with. After 500 years she’s extremely confident in her identity as a woman and a lesbian, although that doesn’t make it any easier to talk to pretty girls.

At some point in the past she was banned from Scotland. She seems to have a reputation within the Vekur and has been referred to as the Glasgow Vampire.

There’s a certain melancholy to Jillian sometimes, something she doesn’t talk about. She clearly regrets her poor relationship with Darrell and is trying to repair it, but there seems to be more going on than whatever happened between the two of them.
