Panel 1: Wilkes is walking down the street alone. On one side is a stone building with several arches, while a park stretches down the opposite side of the street. A Volkswagen bus is parked on the side of the road, and there are several other people on the sidewalk.
Panel 2: Wilkes passes in front of a shop and looks through the windows. Posted outside is a sign that’s partially obscured, but it appears to advertise ‘Vintage Used Guitars’. Through the windows can be seen the outline of a counter as well as a number of guitars hanging on a wall, and one propped up in front of the counter.
Panel 3: A close up of the guitar in front of the counter. It’s a red bass guitar.
Panel 4: Wilkes pauses in front of the store.
Panel 5: Wilkes enters the store. A row of acoustic guitars hang on the wall above several amplifiers. Leaning against the other side of the counter is a tall, tan man with light blonde hair streaked with teal and purple and tied back in a bun. He’s wearing a silver vest over a purple button down shirt with the sleeves rolled to his elbows, and light blue jeans. On the counter are a few pieces of paper and a cup with several pens in it, along with a small, rainbow pride flag. The shopkeeper greets Wilkes with a smile, “Good morning!”
Wilkes: “That’s a Gibson SG bass, isn’t it?”
Shopkeeper: “Good eye! Ever played one before?”
Wilkes: “...yeah. My dad has one.”
Panel 6: A closer shot as the shopkeeper replies: “It’s a classic. We have a couple secondhand for a real reasonable price.”
Wilkes: “Can I try them out?”
Shopkeeper: “Sure! Go ahead and grab that one, I’ll hook you up.”
