Panel 1: Outside of the Black Hole, Darrell waves as he walks the opposite direction of Ty, Leah, and Jeremy. It’s dark out, and Leah and Ty are both now wearing black jackets. Ty and Jeremy are also now wearing black beanies on their heads. The trees nearby have lost most of their leaves.

Panel 2: Darrell turns the corner, smiling happily.

Panel 3: He doesn’t walk far before his smile fades, and his expression turns a bit sad.

Panel 4: Darrell looks up and says: “...I might have a band again.”

Panel 5: Standing on the sidewalk he looks up at the clear, starry night, framed by various buildings on the street. There are trees in the distance, some evergreen while others have lost their leaves, and further still are mountains. A waxing gibbous moon hangs in the sky above him as he continues: “It’s a real band this time. They actually play shows.”

Panel 6: Darrell has stopped now next to the bar, hands in his pockets as he talks up to the night sky: “I know how happy you were that I was following in your footsteps. I don’t plan on ever stopping.”

Panel 7: Tears begin forming in his eyes. “I hope… I’m still making you proud.”

Panel 8: Over a last shot of the moon overhead surrounded by stars: “Mom. Dad.”
