Panel 1: Jillian and Rosalyn walk through the neighborhood together. All of the houses are dark, and the night sky can be seen overhead through the naked tree branches. Rosalyn remarks: “It’s been a while since I’ve gone actual hunting.”
Panel 2: Rosalyn looks down at herself. She’s wearing her black leather jacket zipped up over her shirt. “You sure I’m dressed alright for it?”
Jillian is also wearing her jacket now, which is fastened with double breasted buttons. She looks over at Rosalyn: “Oh yes, it’ll be fine.”
Panel 3: Rosalyn: “You sure you don’t want to go back to the birthday party? We can always do this another night.”
Jillian: “It’s alright. Darrell will probably enjoy it more without me there.”
Panel 4: Jillian’s expression falls: “He… had a rough start into this life. I’m trying to give him more space.”
Panel 5: Rosalyn looks more serious: “I can’t imagine not having a rough start. It kinda flips your whole life upside down.”
Jillian: “That’s very true.”
Panel 6: Jillian: “Taylor is handling it surprisingly well. I wonder if I should be concerned.”
Rosalyn, with a smile: “He could just be good at dealing with change, or he could’ve already been a murderer.”
Jillian: “He’s too bad at killing people to have done it before.”
