Trash

Panel 1: The man lays on the ground, motionless and covered in blood from a deep gash in his throat. Pale green tendrils of energy circle around a large mass of blood as it rises into the air above him.
Panel 2: The blood, hovering in the air, forms a globule with several smaller globules floating nearby. On one side a small amount begins to twist away, surrounded by energy.
Panel 3: The thin twist of blood is fed into the mouth of a container held by Jillian’s blue gloved hand.
Panel 4: Jillian feeds the last of the blood into a bota bag (a type of wineskin) that she’s been carrying under her jacket, strapped around her shoulder like a purse. Rosalyn, with reverence: “Oh my god. Where did you learn this?”
Jillian: “Italy. A very long time ago.”
Panel 5: Jillian drinks from the now full bag.
Panel 6: She holds it out towards Rosalyn, saying with a smile: “A quick and easy way to clean trash off of the street.”
Rosalyn reaches for it: “That’s amazing.”
Panel 7: They look down at the body at their feet. Rosalyn: “So what do we do with the trash?”
Jillian: “I saw a dumpster further back that he should fit in.”
