The Fine Line

This page is entirely in sepia, suggesting past events.
Panel 1: Close up of a pair of legs from the knees down walking down the sidewalk. They’re wearing jeans and Converse shoes, and are wobbling and unsteady. The panel border is also unsteady but still holding its basic rectangular shape. The owner of the legs is singing badly: “Iii love you mooore than I did the week befooore”
Panel 2: The panel border starts to lose its shape, breaking and falling into the panel itself. One foot slips off of the edge of the sidewalk, and the other foot slips as the person trips. The terrible singing turns into an abrupt exclamation: “I discoveaaahhh!”
Panel 3: The border has lost all shape, and is now only a vague scribbled outline. Person 1’s head hits the sidewalk with a loud ‘wham’.
Panels 4-5: These panels seem to be broken up from one larger panel as the border completely loses integrity. They show, as a whole, the edge of the sidewalk with blood streaming down and puddling on the street. Someone unknown is talking, their words starting small and almost illegible but growing larger by the end: “Can you hear me? Hello?”
