Panel 1: Taylor and Darrell walk down the sidewalk together, both with their hands in their pockets. They pass by a couple of houses with a number of trees in and around their yards. Ivy crawls up one of the porches.

Panel 2: Taylor turns to Darrell and asks: “Do you mind if I ask how old you are?”

Panel 3: Darrell: “Seventeen.”

Panel 4: Taylor, clearly surprised: “Oh dang.”

Panel 5: Taylor: “How long have you been like this?”

Darrell: “‘Bout a week.”

Taylor: “No shit, really? You’re brand new too?”

Panel 6: Taylor, still surprised and a bit caught off balance by this revelation: “How often does Jillian do this?”

Darrell, looking away with a slight grimace: “It’s a habit, apparently.”
