Panel 1: Morning sun shines through the windows of Jillian’s bedroom as she sits up in bed and stretches. Her hair is down and unkempt, and she’s wearing a simple pale pink nightshirt that falls to mid-thigh. On her wall between the windows is a framed piece of artwork of Mount Hood.

Panel 2: Jillian puts on a grey cardigan shawl over her nightshirt, blinking sleepily.

Panel 3: She begins heading downstairs but pauses at the turn in the stairs, looking down questioningly. We can see that she’s also now wearing pale blue and white plaid pajama pants.

Panel 4: Below her at the bottom of the stairs lies Taylor, crumpled in a pile and asleep. He’s wearing the same outfit he had on yesterday. From this angle we can also see that Jillian is wearing simple blue slippers.

Panel 5: Jillian smiles in fond amusement down at him.

Panel 6: She sits at the top of the stairs, telling him as he rouses: “That’s the last time I share my spirits with you.”

Taylor covers his face with one hand, groaning: “ughghh why does my whole body hurt”

Jillian: “That would be the stairs, luv. Not traditionally considered a restful sleeping place.”
