Panel 1: Darrell picks up one of the alphabet magnets and looks at it. “Where’d these come from?”

Taylor: “I think Jillian got them for Becca. So she can talk to us if she wants.”

Panel 2: Darrell quickly puts the magnet back, flinching away from it.

Panel 3: Darrell, hesitantly: “What... do you think about Becca?”

Panel 4: Taylor: “She freaked me out a bit when I first saw her, but I’m okay with her, I guess. I don’t see her that much, I think she mostly hangs out with Jillian.”

Panel 5: The scene changes to Jillian, who’s wearing a blue V-neck sweater over a white and grey striped button down shirt. She’s also wearing reading glasses, and as she sits and reads aloud from a Kindle Becca’s hands emerge from the wall behind her. “In spite of her small vanities, Margaret had a sweet and pious nature, which unconsciously influenced-”

Panel 6: Jillian stops reading in surprise as Becca steals her glasses.

Panel 7: Becca appears in front of Jillian, holding the glasses up to her own face as Jillian smiles at her. “Yes, you’re very cute.”
