A Hundred Years

Panel 1: Still sitting at the table drinking absinthe, Taylor looks thoughtful as he remarks: “Man, I can’t imagine still being around in a hundred years.”
Rosalyn: “I haven’t even made it to a full hundred yet, and so much has changed already.”
Panel 2: Jillian: “I’ll say this, your first hundred will be your most memorable.”
Panel 3: Jillian glances up thoughtfully: “Everything after that just sort of becomes a blur of changing technology and gradually shifting public opinion.”
Panel 4: Taylor and Rosalyn exchange a glance as Jillian continues: “You can try to keep up with it, but after a time it feels less and less like your world and more like an endless holiday in a place that never quite feels like it’s yours.”
Panel 5: Jillian takes a sip from her glass as Taylor and Rosalyn think on this. Under the table, a curl of Becca’s hair can be seen barely in the shot.
Panel 6: Becca pops up more visibly under the table as Taylor says with a smile: “I can’t wait to have robots and hovercars.” Rosalyn, with a regretful smile: “I feel like I should’ve kept all of my vinyl.”
Jillian: “Oh you can buy them again, it’s been making a comeback lately.”
